BUBÁČEK train

Use the train during your trips all day long! Combine the train with a walk in the beautiful countryside and visit, for example, the Žalý lookout tower. Want to take a walk? No problem! Take a short walk with your little ones and we will pick you up on the train en route at our stops! 

Restaurants with varied menus can be visited wherever you go. It is certainly worth mentioning the Municipal Restaurant Strážné (Strážné checkpoint), as well as the Kněžická cottage, the Švejk restaurant Vrchlabí and the Mincovna restaurant in Vrchlabí.

Holiday operation – The train will run from 1.7.2023 to 31.8.2023 every day except Monday, when it will be serviced in the depot.

1. SMALL CIRCUIT – VRCHLABÍ (MARKED IN GREEN ON THE MAP)

A SMALL CIRCUIT around Vrchlabí – the Bubáček train visits the Hotel Gendorf, Restaurant Švejk (on signal), Bubákov (by prior arrangement) stops.

​​2. LARGE CIRCUIT – BENECKO/STRÁŽNÉ (ON THE MAP MARKED BLUE BENECKO AND RED STRÁŽNÉ)

Vrchlabí – BENECKO (one-way or return)

The Bubáček train runs from Vrchlabí in the direction of BENECKO and back – stop at Hotel Gendorf according to the current timetable. There is always a break for lunch or other refreshments at the Benecko stop…

Take a walk along the Lufťák or Benecko nature trail. Would you like some more fun? Be sure to take advantage of the Family Arena, which is found after a short walk from the train stop – the parking lot at Benecko.

3. VRCHLABÍ – STRÁŽNÉ (one-way or return)

The Bubáček train runs from Vrchlabí in the direction of STRÁŽNÉ and back – stop at Hotel Gendorf according to the current timetable. There is always a refreshment break at the Strážné Grill Point…

Have your kids ever crawled all over a snow cat in summer? Plan a trip to Strážné, where there is a wonderful playground with a great wooden snow cat that entertains boys and girls of all ages.

SPECIAL AND INDIVIDUAL TRAIN RIDES:

Private rides on the Bubáček Tourist Train can be booked a min. 24 hours before the ride (standard circuit). Private rides of the Bubáček Tourist Train can be booked a min. 3 days before the ride. For both options the price is negotiable. RESERVATIONS AND INFORMATION ON +420 602 240 008.

Very large items are not transported. Baby strollers, animals – FREE transport. Transportation limited to the consent of the conductor, passengers and in accordance with the conditions of carriage.

The operator reserves the right to change the price and reserves the right to cancel the operation and transport in case of bad weather, excessive wind speed or technical failure.
